PaRTICIPATION AT EVENTS
  • Prof. Bekiaris-Liberis delivered two invited seminars, disseminating/communicating C-NORA results, at Rutgers University, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and WINLAB, on November 13 and November 15, 2024, on “Micro-macro PDE control under implementation limitations of large-scale transport systems”.
  • Prof. Bekiaris-Liberis participated to “Researcher’s Night” event with a poster session communicating project C-NORA and its results to the general public on September 27, 2024.
  • Prof. Bekiaris-Liberis participated to 2024 Conference in Emerging Technologies in Transportation Systems (TRC-30), Heraklion, Greece, September 2–4, 2024. He presented the article (extended abstract): A. Delis and N. Bekiaris-Liberis, On numerical investigation of epidemics transport dynamics using a coupled PDE crowd flow – epidemics spreading dynamics model. 
  • Prof. Bekiaris-Liberis participated as a reviewer and member of the PhD thesis committee of Salim Zekraoui, University Centrale Lille. The thesis with title “Finite-time control and estimation of some classes of PDEs” was defended on October 31st, 2023.
  • Prof. Bekiaris-Liberis delivered an invited seminar with title “PDE-based control and estimation of transport systems: Application to traffic and cardiovascular flow” on October 30th, 2023 at University Centrale Lille, Lille, France.

  • Prof. Eduardo Montijano (Universidad de Zaragoza), delivered a seminar at TUC on “Learning to control large teams of robots”, on November 8th, 2024.
  • Prof. Bekiaris-Liberis participates in the organizing committee of European Control Conference 2025, as Registrations Chair.
  • Prof. Bekiaris-Liberis co-organizes workshop Control and Adaptation: Imagine What’s Next (in honor of Miroslav Krstic), to be held within 2024 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control.
  • Prof. Sergio Grammatico (TU Delft), delivered a seminar at TUC on “Optimal Game Equilibrium Seeking”, on June 12th, 2024.
  • Dr. Christos Verginis (Uppsala University), delivered a seminar at TUC on “Scalable and Verifiable Coordination of Adaptable Autonomous Systems”, on June 11th, 2024.
